New world, new life, new me.
New me,indeed. That includes a new body, apparently, along with the new consciousness setting up shop right alongside mine.
Or am I the one that’s the infiltrator? This isn’t my body, after all.
Somehow, I know Andrew is to blame. He’s twisting the strands of fate so that I can never forget him, never truly escape him. I might have got out of the basement, but now I find myself in a whole other cage.
Trapped inside the body of a bear.
What a fan-bloody-tastic twist of fate that is.
The bear and I agree on one thing at least: we can’t go any further into the stinky village. It’s too much, we can’t cope with it.
So we turn on our heels and lumber off back into the forest.
