“God, yes, Hunter.” Penn’s voice is full of laughter and tears, as raw and real as anything we’ve shared.

We collide, his lips fierce against mine, and it’s not gentle—it’s a claim, a promise, a fusion of everything we are. Our friends erupt into cheers, but they’re somewhere in the distance because it’s just Penn and me and this kiss that seals our future. He tastes like cake and champagne and forever.

“God, I fucking love you,” I murmur against Penn’s lips, the words barely a breath, but they’re everything.

“Love you more,” he giggles breathlessly.

We’re still kissing when the others gather around us, hugging and laughing and shedding happy tears along with us. But we’re still lost in each other, in a way that’s probably going to get us teased from now until the end of time, but none of that matters.

“Let’s do this,” I murmur against his lips.

“Let’s.” he agrees.
