“What’s that, Sky?”
“That Omega,” I pointed to the picture. “He had longer hair and I’m not sure of his name, but I’ve seen him.”
“Harley?” Colby asked in surprised, tapping his finger against the picture.
I nodded. “Yeah. Dr. Murphy took me to a lab a few months ago while he was harvesting eggs. I’m positive that was the Omega they were using.”
“Colby? Do you have the Verlorene Huffnug file?”
The Blood Valley Omega pulled a file from the stack in front of him and passed it to Rafe. He, in turn, pulled out a picture and handed it to me. “Is this by any chance the Dr. Murphy you knew?”
I nodded and Rafe added it to the board, linking it to Cal with a red dotted line.
I studied the rest of the pictures on the board. “I know that other one, too. That woman.” I pointed to one in the upper corner, separated from the rest of the web by a black marker border.
Rafe’s eyes widened and he reached up to tap the picture. “This one?”
I nodded.
He and Colby exchange a look, but I wasn’t sure what it meant.
“Where do you know her from, Sky?” Colby asked intently.
“She’s the one who sold Alexi to Cal.”
“You’re sure?” Colt asked me softly. “This is really important.”
“Yeah. She wasn’t dressed like that,” I nodded to the picture that showed the redhead in a button up blouse. “She wore lots of black leather and carried a riding crop, but that’s definitely her.”
“That is most disturbing,” a man from the back of the room observed.
Rafe nodded. “It sure is, boss.”
“It looks like we aren’t quite done with this case yet.” Rafe looked around the table with a sigh. “It’s time for one last trip to the Omega Auction.”
The End
