Alexander’s hips thrust upward in a fierce, driving rhythm, his hands clamping down on her thighs to hold her captive as he lifted her and drove into her again and again. Each upward thrust made her bounce against him, made her breath break, made her cling to him as pleasure surged violently through her.
She could feel him everywhere—filling her completely, overwhelming every sense she had until her mind blurred. The pleasure was so intense it electrified her skin, tightening her muscles until she could think of nothing, feel nothing, except him and the way he moved through her.
She was close again—seconds away—when his hand suddenly slid from her hip and moved between her legs. His fingers found her most sensitive spot instantly.
“No—” she gasped, grabbing at his wrist to stop him.
But Alexander caught her wrist with his free hand, gripping it easily as his thumb continued its relentless movements. He held her firmly, refusing to let her escape the pleasure he was forcing through her while his hips continued to drive up into her at a maddening speed.
“F-fuck—” Mia’s voice cracked, and she couldn’t even stay upright anymore, her body collapsing forward as another cry tore out of her.
Alexander’s lips curved into a slow, dark smile at the sound of her curse—at the way she shook and clung to him, pulling him in even tighter with every movement.
The more she cried out, the more he lost control.
She tightened around him again—harder, impossibly tight—and his breath broke. A deep, rough groan tore out of him as his control snapped.
And then, with one final, powerful he came again, his release deep and hot inside her just as Mia shattered completely beneath him, her body arching as she broke for the final time, trembling through a helpless, uncontrollable release that pulsed around him.
They stayed like that for a heartbeat, breathing hard, bodies tangled, his forehead resting against hers, both of them shaking.
Slowly, Alexander loosened his hold. His breathing steadied, but his eyes remained dark, intense, overflowing with something fierce and unreadable as he brushed a trembling strand of hair from her cheek.
Without a word, he slid his arms beneath her. Mia let out a soft sound, weak and spent, as he lifted her off the bed. Her head fell against his shoulder, her arms naturally looping around his neck.
He carried her into the bathroom, pushing the glass door open with his foot. The lights were soft, warm, steam already drifting in the air from the bath he had somehow turned on without her noticing.
Alexander lowered her gently into the warm, soothing water and cupped water over her shoulders, brushing her skin with careful, tender strokes.
“I’ll be right back,” he murmured, brushing his thumb across her cheek once before leaving the bathroom.
A minute later, he returned—shirtless, but calmer—with a soft dress draped over his arm and a set of underwear he’d taken from the top drawer of her closet. He set them on the counter and then sat beside the tub.
When she was done, he helped her up, wrapping a towel around her body and drying her with patient, unhurried movements.
He carried her back to the bedroom and eased her onto the bed. Then he knelt down in front of her and slipped the underwear up her legs, smoothing the fabric gently against her hips. After that, he helped her into the dress—slow, careful, as if she might break if he moved too roughly.
Only once she was dressed did he stand and pull on a fresh suit. The crisp fabric contrasted with his still-wild eyes, his still-uneven breathing.
When he sat on the edge of the bed, Mia reached for him—hesitant. He exhaled, hooked an arm around her waist, and pulled her into his lap, settling her against his chest. She curled against him, small and warm, feeling his heartbeat under her palm.
Her fingers brushed his jaw as she looked up into his eyes. “Mr. Graves, are you… angry?” she whispered.
Alexander didn’t speak at first. He just stared at her—eyes dark, fierce, still carrying the weight of everything he felt and didn’t say
Finally, his voice came low. Rough. Controlled only by a thread. “Why did you let him stay?”
Mia blinked, dizziness still fogging her thoughts. “Let… who stay?”
His jaw tightened. “Harold.”
Her brows knitted in confusion. “Because… he’s your cousin?”
Alexander’s arm tightened around her waist. His gaze hardened, burning straight into hers.
“That’s it? That’s the only reason?”
His hand came up, his fingers sliding beneath her chin, tilting her face upward. His thumb brushed the corner of her lips, his voice dropping low and dangerous.
