Even though both our babies could swim before they could walk, they know that they can’t go into the water without one of us down there with them.
“Coming, buddy!” Jace calls down to him.
“Jace, say it.”
“I did,” he says, backing up toward the beach.
I follow him, watching as he reaches behind his head and pulls off his shirt. The muscles in his chest are still as hard and defined as the day he carried me out of the water.
“That won’t work,” I lie. “You won’t distract me, even with my pregnancy hormones raging.”
He flexes his arms and asks not so innocently, “What won’t work?”
Jace flashes me a grin before leaning in and giving me a quick peck on the lips before turning to jog down to the beach, leaving me with the fantastic view of his ass in his tight swim trunks.
I press my thighs together to ease some of the pleasurable ache.
“Give me strength,” I say to myself.
