I could feel his smug attitude through the bond, and he got an elbow to the ribs for it.

Once I managed to find my center of gravity again, I padded over towards Jesse. They pulled me into their arms, kissing my forehead lightly before pressing a heavier one to my lips. I could feel their warm content through the bond that felt like being wrapped in a cozy blanket.

“Good morning to you too. Having fun without me?”

“Just prepping for the real fun,” Charlie said, coming up beside me. He grabbed Jesse by the waist and pulled him close, kissing him in a way that made my toes curl just to watch.

When he pulled away Jesse had that half lidded look on his face. And yeah, same.

“I think we should let breakfast wait,” Charlie said. He grabbed my hand along with Jesse’s and tugged us along. I didn’t know if I would ever get used to how large this house was. I insisted something this large wasn’t necessary, but Charlie had pointed out we needed a bedroom, I needed a nest, all three of us needed offices, a guest room would be nice… it was how we ended up in this gargantuan, beautiful home.

Instead of going to our room Charlie veered us right to go to the nest. I swore he liked it more than I did most of the time. Though as the door opened, my love for it came rushing back. It was all purples of course, but instead of my normal lighter purples I went for deep plums and royal purple to give it a slightly darker, cozy vibe. My office was the same lighter, vibrant purple as it had always been–just with some of the new upgrades of wallpaper patterned walls, my purple PC setup, and my constantly growing collection of magic girl anime figurines.

A girl could never have too many, after all.

But in here, I wanted something different, and I think it turned out perfectly. The real reason I was sure Charlie loved being in here was how thick our combined smells were. Because we spent heats and ruts in here, and even had some spontaneous moments like today, but as a result everything was
