So long as I had them in my life, I could do anything.
Epilogue
Crystal blue waters lapped at the shore. The beach house we’d rented sat behind me. Snuggled up against my chest in a baby wrap, Poppy giggled as Halos made faces at her. Four months old, and she was a bright-eyed and happy baby. Her hair had come in dark black, and she was already trying to roll over when we put her down for tummy time.
The sound of rolling waves soothed me. It felt lavish, but part of me wanted to know what the oceans all around the world sounded like.
“Catch!” Dante shouted, throwing a Frisbee at Quinn.
“He’s not doing too bad.” Halos bumped my shoulder. He had turned into the baby central, toting a massive baby bag with all of Poppy’s favorite toys, with the teddy bear Quinn bought her ranking the favorite. He’d even ordered Poppy some little baby hoodies in a range of vibrant colors.
I watched my beta running around the beach with Dante after claiming he didn’t know how to throw.
“Here we go.” Colton came out of the house with a cooler filled with snacks and drinks. My milk had come in, and I was hungrier than ever.
Colton held his hands out, and I passed him his daughter.
The four of them were amazing fathers. I couldn’t have known when I decided to take a chance on a one-night stand that it would completely change my life. That I would find the pack of my dreams.
If this was what letting magic in my life looked like, I couldn’t complain.
