A woman was stroking my hair in a soothing manner, but when I looked up at the man, his eyes were red and full of anger aimed at me. He held a boy with amber eyes, like Christian’s. My eyes widened when I saw another boy poking his head out from behind the man. He was taller and older but had a serious expression on his face.
“Altes, my love. You don't play so rough with your little brother. You could have hurt him,” she said, kissing my face. “The kind of hurt he wouldn't get better from.”
I froze when I saw her face. It was the same face as my painting.
What was happening?
I woke up choking, but I didn't need fucking air to breathe. My hand went around my neck as I calmed down. Gemma lay beside me, and I could hear the boy's heartbeats from the room next to us. My family was safe.
I carefully slipped out of bed, taking my phone with me to the hallway, and called Damien because I think I dreamt of our parents.
The End.
