"Oh god!" Devon releases Kyle’s dick, rolling his head back in pleasure. At first, I'm sure he's gonna come, but somehow, he holds himself back and clings to Kyle to remain upright.

But I barely have time to process this as Frankie's seed shoots deep within me, his knot swelling inside my achingly tight channel and locking him in place.

"Yes, alpha!" I cry out, my eyes screwed shut as I'm stretched wider than I ever thought possible.

"Oh, fuck," Frankie moans as he leans into me one last time, his rod throbbing as he fills me with come.

His knot is still swelling inside me, tying us together as we both ride out our orgasms.

"Holy shit." My body trembles as I cling to Kyle for support.

Kyle grins at me devilishly as I catch my breath. "Did you enjoy that, baby?"

"God, yes." I can barely catch my breath. "So much."

"Good." He leans down into the kiss. "Because there are two more knots you still need to take before we leave this room."

I moan softly as he kisses me, my spent cock still twitching inside Devon.

"You ready for round two, omega?" Kyle raises his eyebrow at me.

"Yes, alpha. Please." I want every drop of them inside me. Now.

DEVON

Rolling over, I yawn and stretch against the soft white sheets of the king-sized bed. I'm pleasantly exhausted, my body drained from the endless fucking I endured. Kyle and Frankie slipped out of the bedroom a few hours ago, leaving me and River to sleep in.

Over the last few weeks, they've fallen into a rhythm of working with the rest of the pack. Frankie helps out in the kitchen while Kyle lends his strength to various projects around the compound.

Meanwhile, I've been keeping River company as much as possible, doing my best to encourage him as he steps into the role of leading an entire pack.

When I reach for him, I frown when I realize his spot in the bed is empty. Lifting my head, I glance around the room and catch sight of him standing by the large window that looks out over the woods behind the compound.

"Hey, sweetheart." I sit up and rub my eyes. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." He glances back at me with a weak smile. "Just thinking."

"About what?" I climb out of bed and pad across the room to hold him.

He sighs. "About how much my life has changed in such a short amount of time."

"It's a lot." I wrap my arms around his waist and rest my chin on his shoulder. "But it's a good change, right?"

"Yeah, of course it is." He leans against me and places his arms over mine, tightening my grip around him. "But I can't help worrying that maybe it's all too good to be true."

"What do you mean, sweetheart?" I press a kiss against his neck, loving the way his scent is the perfect blend of all four of us.

"I mean, what if the northern pack is still a threat?" He exhales deeply, still staring straight ahead. "And what if the claim I have against them only lasts as long as I do. Someday, even if it's a very long time from now, I won’t be around to maintain our position. And if we have pups, they and their kids are gonna be in danger again."

"River..." I turn him around to face me, looking into his eyes. "You can't think like that. You can't worry about things that might happen in the future. We can’t control what happens in ten or twenty or fifty years. We can only control the present. That’s what we need to focus on. Building on our present to secure our future."

"But worrying is my job as the leader of this pack, isn't it? Worry about what might happen so my pack stays safe."

Technically, he’s right. I want to tell him there's nothing to worry about, reassure him that there's no chance the northern pack will ever come back and threaten us or our descendants. But even I know that's naive. "So, what do you think we should do to protect the future?"

He looks at me uncertainly and then turns back toward the window. "I think...I need to dissolve our isolationism. I think if we foster stronger connections with the town, maybe even with the local hunters, we'll have more access to resources. More people on our side, so hopefully, it'll be more difficult for the northern pack or anyone else to just sweep in and either eradicate or absorb us."
