Step one: Get fired from the teaching job I love through no fault of my own.
Step two: Apply for an appraisal job I’m wildly unqualified for after too much sangria.
Step three: Somehow get hired.
Step four: Fly two thousand miles to Wildwood, Oregon, and pray my ridiculously hot former-Marine turned mountain man boss never discovers I’m a fraud.

It’s only one week.
How much trouble can I possibly get into?
