Wolves and vampires can’t be fated mates. That’s just how it works… or so they thought.
As alpha of the northwest Were pack, Waylon is accustomed to a stoic life of duty. It’s his job to ensure his pack’s safety and ensure they thrive. That duty doesn’t include love. He’s lived a long time and now every Were he sees looks like a pup to him. That’s not appealing in the least. Then a king’s guard moved to town, and he’s perfect in every way for Waylon, except one. He’s a vampire.
Audor was born a Viking. That’s who he’ll always be at heart. When King Jonathan sent him to the north to watch over the small town of Wulfe, Audor gladly obeyed. After all, as his ancestors would say, it was fortunate to be favored. Unfortunately, he’s never been as blessed in love. Until he met a massive wolf with sad eyes, and now Audor is twice as unlucky.
